DID YOU KNOW?? The Munsters (1964–1966) originated from a mid-1940s concept by Looney Tunes animator Bob Clampett, who imagined a cartoon monster family. Universal Pictures later revived the idea in the early 1960s to parody 1950s sitcoms, utilizing their classic horror movie rights (Frankenstein, Dracula) to design characters.
