The Hardcastle and McCormick Coyote X was a unique TV icon, primarily built as a modified Manta Montage kit car, which itself was a replica of the McLaren M6GT. Later seasons switched to a DeLorean-based chassis for better actor comfort, with some stunt models featuring VW engines and custom suspension for jumping.
